Part Deux

The Goat Trick

Ahhh, the goat trick. Most people don't know what they're missing. I first read about it on the alt.disney.disneyland newsgroup, and boy, is it cool. What am I talking about? Well, next time you're on Big Thunder Mountain RR, sit in the back 2 or 3 rows. When you see the goat at the top right of the second lift hill, turn your body towards him. As you whip around that turn, keep staring. You'll see what I mean. It makes an awesome ride even better!

Big Small World

We walked over towards Small World on a mission: to take another cool panoramic photo (you may have seen my New Orleans Square and Toontown panoramics). And, here it is! We didn't actually go on the ride (my friend is totally opposed to such an idea) but we did later walk into ToonTown for a ride on Roger Rabbit.

Above: Another cool panorama, this time of it's a small world. This was originally three separate photos.

Other Stuff we did w/o pictures

We did ride some other things that I didn't take pictures of. We did the whole "mountain range", including an excellent front row ride on Space Mountain. We did both Pirates and the Haunted Mansion. Mr. Toad was also on the menu. Lunch was at that "Try our Gumbo" place whose name escapes me, and dinner was at Redd Rockett's.

Mulan Parade

One of the things I was really looking forward to was the Mulan parade. When 10:15 came around, we were ready, and so was my camera. Of course, my camera isn't much for night photos, so many attempts failed. But, here's what I came up with. Oh, and the parade was great! I haven't seen the movie yet, but I was still entertained with the good music and very talented performers, not to mention the great looking floats!

Above: Two smaller floats from the Mulan parade.

Left: I believe that's Mushu on the front of the bike there (remember I haven't seen the movie)
Right: A pretty good sized float--of who I do not know.

Various floats from the superb Mulan parade.
