All photos were taken on an Olympus D-600L digital camera, at a resolution of 1280x1024. This makes these photos the highest resolution and largest size (in more way than one) on the Web!
As usual, I'll put a
to the lower-left of photos I think are first rate.
You can click on the thumbnails to see the larger pictures!
The setup:
Who went: Me (Jeff), mom, dad, sister.
Weather: Miserable. Drizzle or rain all day. It really screwed up our day.
Crowds: Surprisingly large. I thought it was summer. As the rain got heavier, most people left though.
Where we stayed: Candy Cane Inn (good as usual).
What we did that I don't have photos of:
I'm going to go for pictures rather than storytelling this time. We hit the entire DL mountain range today, including two rides on Space Mountain. The last ride on Space Mountain was fantastic, perhaps the fastest train I've been on. I taught my family the fabled "goat trick" on Thunder Mountain but only my sister noticed anything.
On Splash Mountain, I got completely soaked. I mean, REALLY soaked. Our log was all adults, and on the first drop, a TON of water came in over the sides. That was NOT cool.
I introduced my family to New Tomorrowland. Star Tours and Space Mountain are still favorites; Nobody liked the Rocket Rods. And Honey I Shrunk the Audience was a big hit.
We ate at Cafe Orleans for lunch, and the delicious Pizza Port for dinner. Those breadsticks sure are good!
Now, on with the story...
Christmas on Main Street
If there's one thing Disneyland has figured out, it's how to do the holiday season right! The decorations and atmosphere are top notch! My hat is off to the people behind this!

it's a small world holiday
For the second year in a row, it's a small world has been totally changed for the holidays! And this year it was even better! I normally avoid the ride like the plague, but I was ready to go on it again! The music and the decorations are first-rate!
