McDonald's in Disneyland...

Ahh, the fry cart. The McDonald's fry cart. This thing kept the folks in the newsgroup busy all summer.. and now, it's open! Well, it wasn't today, but I took a picture of it anyway. By the way, an order of fries costs $2.25. Over at the Orange County airport, you can get a "bucket of fries" for $2.49. I'm not sure of the serving size, since it wasn't open.

Above: In the flesh... at least it's well themed..

In dry dock...

Both Fantasmic and the Mark Twain were closed -- I knew this of course. Fantasmic won't be back up until March, and I really missed it! Lucky for me, I'll be seeing it in Florida next month!

Left: You can see why Fantasmic is closed... they've got the area around the center fountain drained!
Right: The Mark Twain sits quietly in Fowler's Harbor.

Pet Semetary

One of my favorite parts of the Haunted Mansion is the cemetary you see while waiting in line. The best part for me is all the statues of pets, complete with "punny" inscriptions on the tombstones. Here's a sampling:

Top Left: Kitty doesn't have an inscription...
Top Right: "Old Flybait - He croaked"
Bottom Left: "Rosie: She was a poor little pig but she bought the farm"
Bottom Right: "Buddy: Our friend until the end"

Thunder Mountain Queue...

Did you know that all the mining equipment in the Thunder Mountain queue is real? Well, it used to be...

Left: Some old mining equipment.
Right: The name of this town escapes me... but it shows the incredible detail that WDI put into this ride.
