All photos were taken on my new Nikon Coolpix 950 digital camera, at a resolution of 1600x1200. Our photos are even better than before!
As usual, I'll put a to the lower-left of photos I think are first rate.

Leftovers

In addition to Disneyland, we also visited Six Flags Magic Mountain (or the Six Flags State Prison, as I call it), which was absolutely mobbed. The most crowded park of the weekend, with lines of 60-90 minutes per ride. Plus, the place has too many scary people, even with the new metal detectors. Riddler's Revenge was great in the back seat, though!

On Sunday, it was off to Universal Studios to try out the new T2:3D show. We saw it twice, and it was great! The women that play "Kimberly Duncan" were "super" too! While the show doesn't have as many in-theater effects as Disney's recent offerings, T2:3D succeeds in these areas:

  • Great sound system
  • The blending of live action wtih the movie was seamless--and very impressive
  • It was like watching T2 all over again!

The one thing you should watch out for: it's very, very violent. They talk about violence in the entertainment industry, and well, here it is shown ever 12 minutes. You get to watch Arnold fire a shotgun at the T-1000 at close range, right on stage, among other things. Parents, be warned.

Otherwise, Universal wasn't crowded at all-- everything had a 15 minute wait tops! Even T2:3D took 15-30 minutes both times!

Here's a few bonus photos that don't fit anywhere else..

Above: Looking at the Thunder Mountain boarding area, from the trail to Fantasyland.

Above: A nice shot of the Mulan parade.

Above: The plaque in front of Pirates that was put there for the 30th anniversary in 1997. If you blow it up, you can see the members of "Walt Disney's Buccaneer Crew"

Well, that's it for this time-- not a lot of pictures, but I ran out of sunlight! Your feedback is always welcomed!
