Disneyland Trip Photos

These photos were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 990 digital camera -- which has 3.3 million pixels! This is thestate-of-the-art digital camera, meaning that the photos on this site are the biggest (2048 x 1536) and arguably the best on the Internet!

For these pictures, I went for a little variety -- instead of just still photos, I tried some photographic tricks. I think you'll like what you see. I'm also going to let the pictures speak for me -- less trip report, more pictures.

As usual, I'll put a to the lower-left of photos I think are first rate.

Frontierland

The first thing I noticed was that Casa Mexicana was gone! Apparently they're going to rebuilt this restaurant from the ground up. Sounds good to me! Dinner was supplied by Big Thunder Ranch... mmmm... ribs!

Here's some boats from the Rivers of America fleet:

Here's the Columbia coming back towards the dock.

And the Mark Twain jujst leaving it.

And now how about the wildest ride in the wilderness? Two backseat rides delivered just what we were looking for!

Below left: An action shot of the train nearing the end of the ride.

Below right: Another action shot of the train shooting by.

New Orleans Square

New Orleans square was pretty busy. There's lots of great musical entertainment, plus Pirates and the Haunted Mansion! Pirates has recently been refurbished and was better than ever!

Top left: New Orleans Square was really hoppin' on a Sunday afternoon.

Top right: These two musicians were great! I was also very impressed with "The Fab Four", a Beatles cover band, who played at the Tomorrowland Terrace. Check'em out!

Below left: Another one of the great tombstones in the pet cemetary.

Believe... There's Magic in the Stars

Taking pictures of fireworks is very difficult -- so what you'll see below isn't up to the quality standards of everything else. If I had a tripod, things would be great, but I don't bring one with me. So I have to hold the camera above my head and just snap away. These pictures have been reduced in size and sharpened a bit to make them look better.

"Believe..." is Disneyland's new fireworks show, and it's very good. Some of the fireworks are like the ones in Illuminations 2000, which I loved. A definite non-to-be-missed show at DL!

The show is about to start...

"Believe... There's Magic in the Stars"

That's all for this trip! I hope you enjoyed the pictures!
